Taste all the Potomac Highlands has to offer with our monthly food box program. Each month, we offer a different selection of high-quality food products from local farmers such as steaks, ground beef, pork sausage, eggs, chicken, apples, maple syrup and more.

The Potomac Highlands has a a surprising abundance and variety of products that are grown: pastured beef, lamb, chicken and pork to maple syrup, apples, strawberries and organic eggs!  

In these uncertain times, its especially important to buy local - and support - local food producers. 

What's Fresh:

Beef producers: don't miss this opportunity to tune up your knowledge and skills - Eastern is hosting a two hour Beef Quality Assurance training Nov. 17 at WVU's Wardensville Farm. Cost: $15

 

Note: BQA is required for all cattle producers every three years to sell their stock at most sale barns.

About Us

The Potomac Highlands Producers are farmers and producers from the six Potomac Highlands counties of eastern West Virginia, all working together to promote and sell their products to retail, restaurants, institutions and individuals.
 
We are headquartered in Moorefield, WV but serve the six counties of the Potomac Highlands. This project is being spearheaded by the Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical college to strengthen the local farm economy and is funded by a USDA grant.

Monthly Boxes: Buy a box to last a month of locally grown beef, pork, chicken, eggs, produce and value added products such as jams and maple syrup. Click here for more information.

Wholesale: For wholesale to retailers, restaurants and institutions, contact Amanda West, coordinator, at amanda.west@easternwv.edu for wholesale pricing and to place an order. 

Individual Sales: To order individual products contact the producer directly using contact information on their page on our site. To get started, click on a logo or use the menu at the top to view different types of products across all producers.
